Re: Flight Time Credit for Personal Other (PO) Removals
Dear Tommie:
This is to confirm our understanding regarding flight time credit for Personal Other (PO) trip removals. As a result of our recent discussions related to staffing issues during holiday periods, the Company has agreed to allow Flight Attendants the ability to make up time lost for PO removals. This procedure will enhance the Flight Time Credit for Trips Not Flown provisions in Article 7.S. and Appendix I, Article 7.U. of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
A Flight Attendant may, at his/her option, make up time lost due to a PO removal(s). The Flight Attendant should contact Flight Service directly to request an uncredited PO removal. If granted, the trip removal will reflect the Personal Other-Uncredited (PU) code, and the Flight Attendant can then make up time lost during the same month.
It is understood that the provisions of the AA/APFA Collective Bargaining Agreement, except as specifically modified or excepted by this letter, shall apply in all respects. This agreement will become effective July 2, 2005, and may be modified by mutual agreement thereafter.
