WELCOME NEW HIRES!
APFA would like to welcome our newest members to the line. On Tuesday, April 2nd, Class 13-1 will report to DFW, MIA, LGA and DCA. It’s been a long time since we’ve had new hires throughout the system and we are thrilled to see 41 new Flight Attendants joining our ranks.
Pre-Plotting Training
Attention FAs with Recurrent Training next month: April is an especially busy month for Recurrent training. Remember that classes are filled on a first come, first served basis so in order for you to secure your desired training date, enroll as soon as possible. As an FYI, end of the month classes usually fill up faster than those at the beginning of the month. The FAA prohibits AA from overbooking classes so don’t find yourself going QI by waiting too long to enroll.
No Knives On Planes – ACTION ALERT!
APFA has issued an action alert via our CapWiz tool to contact your Congressional Representatives regarding TSA’s recent announcement allowing knives in the cabin. Please visit APFA’s Capwiz Page now to send e-mails to Congress, the President and Vice President, and Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. This link can also be shared with your family and friends.
