BWI Hotel Relocation
Due to the current public unrest, the State of Emergency declaration and the mandatory curfew set for the downtown area in Baltimore, MD, all crews scheduled for long layovers at BWI have been relocated to airport area hotels. APFA will continue to monitor the situation in Baltimore and will work with AA and APA to ensure our crew members scheduled for a BWI layover remain safe and out of harm’s way.
The hotel relocation for the long BWI layover will continue until further notice. Crews scheduled to overnight at BWI should confirm which hotel they have been assigned. AA has been contacting all crews scheduled to overnight at the long BWI hotel today, April 28, 2015, to ensure they are made aware of the new hotel assignments.
The relocation has only affected APFA members flying LUS BWI long layover sequences. All LAA BWI layovers remain as scheduled. AA has offered temporary hotel accommodations for Crew Members commuting out of BWI. Any questions can be sent directly to [email protected].
