July 2015 Domicile Transfer Openings
Prior to awarding new hire Flight Attendant bases, the following base openings are being posted effective July 2, 2015.
Depending on the number of Flight Attendants that elect to transfer, positions may need to be back-filled as a result of the bid.
ALL requests must be submitted electronically via Wings.
All transfer requests will remain on file until either awarded or retracted. If you no longer are interested in a base transfer and have a transfer request on file, that request
should be retracted.
Flight Attendants wishing to change their domicile must submit a transfer form via WINGS by 0900 MST and 1200 EDT, Thursday, May 14, 2015.
The awards will be posted no later than Friday, May 15, 2015. It is NOT necessary to bid all bases when submitting a transfer request.
PHX Town Hall Meeting Tomorrow
American Airlines President Scott Kirby will be hosting a PHX Town Hall Meeting, tomorrow, Friday, May 8th at 10:30am. The meeting will take place at PHX Sky Airport Airport in Conference Room A, above Gate A-8. Scott Kirby will be answering your questions and giving feedback on topics that concern you.
CatCrew Maintenance This Weekend
CatCrew will be unavailable on Sunday, May 10th, starting at 0100 EDT (Saturday, May 9th, starting at 2200 MST). The system maintenance window is scheduled to last for 4 hours.
Wings Foundation Upcoming Events
The Wings Foundation is excited to be visiting Philadelphia and Phoenix! Wings Foundation Volunteers will be in the PHL A East and B Crew Rooms Monday & Tuesday, May 11-12 from 0700-1900. Wings Foundation Volunteers will be in the PHX Crew Room on Wednesday & Thursday, May 13-14 from 0700-1900.
The Wings Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed and managed by American Airlines Flight Attendant Volunteers who offer assistance to Flight Attendants who are out of sick time and in financial distress due to illness, injury, or disability. The Disaster Relief Fund provides assistance to those whose homes are affected by a natural disaster or catastrophic event.
