Upcoming Changes to the US Airways, Inc. Employee Savings Plan
LUS Flight Attendants currently participating in the US Airways, Inc. Employee Savings Plan (the Plan) will experience a few changes over the next few months. By now, you should have received at your home address on file with the Company, a flyer outlining these changes that will take place in May and June.
New Web Address to Access Your Plan Account
You can now access your Plan account online by going to www.netbenefits.com/aa. You will use your same username and password to log on to your Plan account. The website will have all the same functionality with which you are familiar, but it will display the American Airlines logo and colors.
New Service Center Name
When you call (800) 354-3412 to speak with a Retirement Services Representative about your account, you’ll be welcomed to the “American Airlines 401(k) Service Center at Fidelity.” A new name, everything else is the same.
Loans
Currently, you may have one loan from your 401(k). Beginning June 24, 2015, you may have up to two loans outstanding at a time.
Lower Fidelity BrokerageLink® Commission Rate for Online U.S. Equity Trades
If you have a Fidelity BrokerageLink account, your cost for stock trades is going down. Beginning June 24, 2015, the online commission rate for U.S. equity trades in Fidelity BrokerageLink is changing from $7.95 per trade to $5.95 per trade.
Increased Plan Contribution Limits
Currently you can contribute up to 50 percent of your eligible pay to the 401k, (up to the IRS annual limits.) Beginning June 24, 2015, you may contribute up to 100 percent of your eligible pay, (up to the IRS annual limits.)
What Do You Need to Do?
Nothing, this will all happen with no additional work from you. However, if you wish to make changes to your account, obtain additional information or find answers to questions, log on to Fidelity NetBenefits® at www.netbenefits.com/aa or call the American Airlines 401(k) Service Center at Fidelity at (800) 354-3412. Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to midnight ET (excluding New York Stock Exchange holidays).
