August 2015 Domicile Transfer Openings
Prior to awarding new hire Flight Attendant bases, the following base openings are being posted effective August 1, 2015.
Depending on the number of Flight Attendants that elect to transfer, positions may need to be back-filled as a result of the bid.
ALL requests must be submitted electronically via Wings.
All transfer requests will remain on file until either awarded or retracted. If you no longer are interested in a base transfer and have a transfer request on file, that request
should be retracted.
Flight Attendants wishing to change their domicile must submit a transfer form via WINGS by 0900 MST and 1200 EDT, Monday, June 15, 2015.
The awards will be posted no later than Tuesday, June 16, 2015. It is NOT necessary to bid all bases when submitting a transfer request.
August VLOA’s
There will be no VLOAs (LUS) offered for the August bid month.
Crew Meals
Flight Attendant Monthly Crew Meal Schedules is located on Wings under the heading
Home > Workgroups > Flight Service > Bidding
On Friday, September 19, 2014 Flight Service issued the following:
Question: What can I do when I don’t receive a scheduled crew meal?
Answer: Should you not receive a meal, you should contact Flight Service Daily Operations at 888-222-4737 (available 24 hours a day). They will take the key information such as date, flight number, city pair and crew member information. This team will then coordinate with the local catering department to arrange a meal at the scheduled or a downline station.
In a case where you are not provided with a scheduled crew meal and Flight Service is not able to arrange one, you are permitted to secure food from an alternative food provider (airport vendor) and submit along with a receipt for actual reasonable expenses. You can also report missing crew meals through askinflight or via the FACE reports on the HHD. These venues will not provide the opportunity to correct the immediate situation but will allow you to document the issue.
