2016 Benefits Enrollment – LAA/LUS
2016 Annual Benefits Enrollment for Flight Attendants will take place online from October 12-23, 2015. The enrollment brochures with the pricing will be mailed out next week and will be available online on Jetnet Wednesday, September 16th. Please take an opportunity to review the information, so that we can answer any questions you may have before enrollment opens.
Benefit Roadshows will take place system-wide starting on September 21. Roadshows are your opportunity to ask questions and get all the info you need from our benefit vendors.

Changes to Crew Travel for Out-of-Base Training Coming October 17th – LUS
With the upcoming implementation of the new Passenger Service System (PSS) on October 17th, travel to/from out of base training will be changing.
Please ensure you have registered your American employee ID number completed your SAM AA ID registration online following these steps:
- Go to SAM AA ID registration
- Select Help (bottom right under log in)
- Click on First Time User Registration
- Input your American ID number into the User ID field and click submit
- Confirm the name associated with the User ID
- Confirm user account validation information such as Hire date/Date of Birth/Location
- Choose password reset questions
- Set up a password
If you’ve already registered your American employee ID, but forgot your password, you can also reset it at sam.aa.com.
NOTE: If you do not complete this important step, your travel information will not be available in the system to book your reservation
Travel scheduled on legacy US Airways metal prior to October 17th will be booked through the Positive Space Desk; however, the “Positive Space Desk” will close on October 17th.
To book travel to/from out of base training on or after Oct 17th, please call the Training Support Desk at 1-800-327-0117, prompts 2-5-6-1.

CatCrew Maintenance This Evening – LUS
The LUS Flight Attendant Scheduling System, CatCrew, will be unavailable on Saturday, September 12th beginning at 2200 PT. The System Maintenance window is scheduled to last for 4 hours.
Web Based Training (WBT) Deadline Approaching – LAA/LUS
As a reminder, two separate required Web-Based Training (WBT) modules must be completed by Wednesday, September 30, 2015. You will receive $25 training pay for each completed module. To access the lessons:
LAA Flight Attendants: In the Online Learning Center, on Jetnet, click “Launch” next to the course title in “My In-Progress Learning.” Verify completion of the lesson by going to “My Learning / My Transcripts.”

Telephone Town Hall Next Week – LAA/LUS
APFA National President Laura Glading and members of the Joint Implementation Resolution Committee (JIRC) and Joint Scheduling Implementation Committee (JSIC) will be hosting a Telephone Town Hall Conference on Wednesday, September 16th at 5pm Eastern (4pm Central/2pm Pacific). The telephone conference will consist of a short presentation followed by a Questions and Answers session, focusing on Contract implementation of the 2014 Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA).
All members are welcome to join the call. The conference call-in information will be released shortly.
