Clarification to TSA Policy Regarding LAGS for Crewmembers – LAA/LUS
Flight Attendants are encouraged to review the KCM and TSA documents on the Safety/Security Department section at APFA.org for specific crewmember guidance. The TSA has not implemented changes to the current TSA and KCM requirements for crewmembers. Flight Attendants should also review the most recent updates at www.knowncrewmember.org.Â
Â
As a reminder, due to recent events, there is a renewed emphasis on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) 3-1-1 Liquid, Aerosol and Gel (LAG) restrictions at all airport security checkpoints. Flight Attendants should be prepared to comply with each country’s airport security requirements when departing from a foreign destination.
