Reserve Open Time Award/Assignment (ROTA) Error – PHX

Each day, Reserve awards and assignments shall begin one (1) day prior at 1500 Home Domicile Time (HDT). Open pairing positions which have not been awarded from the Unsuccessful Bidders List (UBL) and which remain open at 1500 HDT shall be awarded to Reserves.

Due to human error, the ROTA process began an hour early today at 1400 PHX time. Unlike, CLT, DCA and PHL; the PHX Base did not “Spring Forward” an hour this morning.

The Company has agreed to pay all claims for Lineholders on the UBL who should have received a trip between 1400 and 1500, which instead went to a Reserve. In addition, Reserves will be paid the difference in trip credit, if a higher valued trip should have been awarded. All Flight Attendants affected by the early processing are asked to file a PE-80 Pay Claim.  

Crew Scheduling will publish On-Premise Reserve (OPR), pairing and Reserve Availability Period (RAP) assignments for tomorrow no later than 1930 HDT.
