PHX Flight Wear Exchange Hours & WINGS Training
The Phoenix WINGS Flight Wear Exchange will be open at the US Airways Flight Training Center located at 1950 E. Buckeye Road, Phoenix, AZ 85034 on the following dates:
Please wear your airline ID for expedited entrance to the training center. Gently used and new uniform pieces will be available to redeem for recommended donation amounts. If you would like to exchange a never worn uniform piece (must have the original tags on it) you may do so as well at this event. We will gratefully be accepting donations of gently used uniforms that are clean and on hangers during these dates as well.
Flight Attendants volunteer their time to make this program available. Future store hours will soon be listed on the WINGS Foundation website. All proceeds from the Flight Wear Exchange help provide financial relief for PHX Flight Attendants facing critical illness or injury through the WINGS Foundation.
Also available at these events are nostalgic redemption items including: vintage AA Afghan, note and playing cards, cookbooks, TSA approved corkscrew, 9/11 pin, stylus/flashlight/pen, and many other airline related items.
August Educational Blitz & Training Workshop for Volunteers
The WINGS Foundation will be holding a second Educational Blitz in Phoenix on Wednesday, August 26th and Thursday, August 27th in the Inflight check-in room. Flight Attendants will be available to share information on how WINGS assists Flight Attendants in need, how to get involved and how to donate to support this effort.
Also taking place on August 26th, will be a full day of Training Workshops for volunteers interested in working the cases of Flight Attendants requesting assistance, fundraising, educational outreach and recycling. WINGS is a dynamic charity that welcomes and encourages others to participate in helping their fellow Flight Attendants in times of urgent need. Please contact Nicki Kirkeby at [email protected] to register for this workshop.
