PHX WINGS Wear Blow-out Sale

We would like to send out a big THANK YOU to all who helped with the last PHX WINGS Wear Blow-out Event, including Daniel Smotherman, Amanda Mullins, Sally Maly, Valerie Leikam and retiree Jose Suarez. Over $1,600 was raised to help Flight Attendants in need through WINGS! 

Two (2) more Blow-out Events will take place at the Flight Training Center located at 1950 E. Buckeye Road, Phoenix, AZ 85034 on the following days next week:

• Tuesday, May 3rd from 7am until 2pm
• Wednesday, May 4th from 11am until 6pm

Here’s a sneak-peak at the “blow-out suggested donation prices” for NEW and GENTLY USED items:

• 2-Button Jackets – $15
• Dresses – $10.00
• Zip Jackets, Zip Sweaters and Pants – $7.50
• Shirts, Tailored Tops, Mock Sweaters – $3.50         

If you have gently used or new items that you would like to drop off during the 2-day Blow-out Event, you are welcome to bring them in Tuesday and Wednesday. We are no longer receiving items at the airport.

We also have received some new inventory, including:

• Vintage afghan that is made in North Carolina
• AA Hawaiian apron (quantities are limited)
• Vintage playing cards
• NEW WINGS Foundation hot and cold tumbler (BPA free, microwave & dishwasher safe and also made in the USA!) 

WINGS Foundation in the PHX Crew Room 

WINGS Foundation Blitz Representatives, including many of our most recent LUS WINGS Foundation Volunteers, will be in the Terminal 4 check-in room at PHX Sky Harbor Airport on May 16th and 17th. Stop by and learn how WINGS Foundation assists Flight Attendants in need, learn about recycling, donating and become a WINGS volunteer! The Wings Foundation is a non-profit organization, formed & managed by American Airlines Flight Attendants. Volunteers administer support to AA Flight Attendants applying for assistance who are in critical need of financial help. Assistance may be available to those experiencing serious illness, injury or disability. It may also include those affected by a disaster or catastrophic event which ultimately causes a major financial hardship.
