Paycheck Blitz in the PHX Crew Room
Are you frustrated when trying to understand your paycheck? Do you wonder if you have been paid correctly? Are you overwhelmed with the PE-80 and PE-39A forms? Do you question the purpose of the Pay Summary Screen in CATCREW?
If you answered YES to any or all of these questions, we have answers.
PHX Base Council Representative Dan Friel will answer your questions, and how to reference line items with the CATCREW Pay Summary Screen 5. One-on-one tutorials will familiarize you with general paystub knowledge, so that you will have a better understanding of how you are paid, and how it all adds up.
If you would like to take advantage of this assistance, please arrive at the airport earlier than your report time to allow for extended wait times, or stop by on a day off. There will be a sign-in sheet available for the first-come, first-served sessions.
Please have your CATCREW number and pin on-hand, as well as your paperless pay log-in. If you don’t participate in paperless pay, please bring your last four (4) paycheck printouts to the session. Dan will continue to be in the crew room on the following dates and times to assist:
For those unable to attend the sessions during the above dates and times, you can email your payroll questions to [email protected].
UNICEF – Change for Good
Champions for Children is coming to PHX
Change for Good was created in 1987 and is one of UNICEF’s longest-running global fundraising campaigns. The concept is simple: travelers on international flights can donate their unused currency or make a cash donation to benefit children. Contributions are used to provide lifesaving assistance to the world’s poorest, most vulnerable children in over 190 countries. Since 1994, American has collected more than $10.7 million, to support Change for Good.
Through UNICEF’s Change for Good program on American Airlines, travelers can make donations of foreign and domestic currency on select American Airlines international flights (including flights to/from Canada and Mexico) and at Admirals Club (except Latin America).
While this can be just a bit of change for travelers, this employee-led volunteer effort generates an average of one million dollars a year to support the UNICEF’s Change for Good program and has helped save and improve the lives of millions of children around the world.
What is wonderful about this program is that you can help vulnerable children worldwide just by signing up to be a “Champion for Children” and offering a few minutes of your time while at work. You can do it as much or as little as your schedule permits.
For more information please attend the PHX base blitz on May 13, 14, & 15 or visit Jetnet.
