Fellow Flight Attendants,
The Company announced today that the planned target date for Full Operational Integration (FOI) will not be happening as soon as previously anticipated. The implementation timeframe of mid-2017 has proven to be an unrealistic goal, considering the IT challenges currently beleaguering the operation.
It is our position that although we share a vested interest in getting to FOI sooner rather than later, that cannot come at the expense of further hardship to our members.
Management has committed to working with APFA to explore āalternate solutionsā allowing us to get to FOI as quickly as possible without holding up development on the Trip Trade System (TTS), Electronic Trade Board (ETB), andĀ Reserve Open Time Assignment (ROTA).
We believe it is time to further explore the financial impact of delayed implementation and secure remedies that truly recognize the hardship imposed by further extending indefinite timelines. We are committed to pushing for those remedies and carefully weighing the options regarding alternate solutions moving forward.
In Solidarity,
Bob Ross
APFA National President
