11.11.16 – WINGS Foundation – WINGS PHX Wear to Continue Operating

Donate or Receive Store Credit 

We have good news! The WINGS PHX Wear will continue to operate and will open its doors next Wednesday, Nov 16th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. WINGS Foundation was not certain if the space at the Training Center would remain available to operate the WINGS PHX Wear store, but we believe we will have this space until late 2017. Currently, there is no new uniform inventory, but Flight Attendants who would like to donate or receive a “store credit” for future use, may bring any of their unwanted pieces this coming Wednesday. We will ONLY accept NEW uniform pieces during this event.

We hope to announce additional dates of operation in the near future. The store credit can only be used at the WINGS PHX Wear location and can only be used for uniform pieces (cannot be used for WINGS merchandise). The store is located at the Flight Training Center, 1950 E. Buckeye Road, Phoenix, AZ 85034

Old Uniform Pieces Still Available    

If anyone is in need of old uniform pieces, due to issues with the new uniform material, you may stop by on Wednesday to see if your size(s) are available. If you aren’t able to come by on Wednesday, you may email Nicki Kirkeby at [email protected] or Daniel Smotherman at [email protected] with the uniform pieces and sizes you need and we’ll check inventory on Wednesday to see if we can help you out with any pieces. 

New WINGS Black Apron Available 

The new Black Inflight Approved WINGS apron is also available at the PHX WINGS Wear event along with nostalgic redemption items including: vintage AA Afghan, note and playing cards, TSA approved corkscrew, 9/11 pin, stylus/flashlight/pen, and many other airline related items.

The Wings Foundation is a non-profit organization, formed & managed by American Airlines Flight Attendants. Volunteers administer support to AA Flight Attendants applying for assistance who are in critical need of financial help. Assistance may be available to those experiencing serious illness, injury or disability.
