Issue with Missing 401(k) Match for Post-2012 LAA Hires is Resolved – LAA
The 401(k) group notified APFA late this afternoon that they have fixed the issue surrounding the 2.5% match for all post-2012 LAA hires that was missing from the 1/13/17 ePays statement.Â
In total, 3,029 Flight Attendants were affected. The system has updated and calculated the missing match based on each Flight Attendant’s eligible compensation and employee contribution (Flight Attendants must be contributing at least 2.5% to receive the Company’s 2.5% match). The missed Company match will appear as a separate ePays statement that is now loaded and available for review.Â
All 401(k) employee and employer contributions, company match, and loan repayments will post to Fidelity accounts on schedule tomorrow, 1/13/17.
Affected Flight Attendants have received a message advising them of the correction in their company email accounts.
Flight Attendants with additional questions may contact the 401(k) group at [email protected] or the APFA Retirement Department.
