Women’s March on Washington Tomorrow
The Women’s March on Washington which has gained recent popularity in the past weeks will take place tomorrow in Washington D.C. as well as in many other cities nationwide including Chicago.
The march aims to organize groups who have felt marginalized by the divisive rhetoric of the Presidential campaign. Don’t stay in the margins! This peaceful march empowers us to be part of the solution.
Stated mission: “We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families – recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.”
Many ORD APFA members are proud to participate in this event. The APFA has a 40 year history fighting for equality for all workers, equal pay and safety in the workplace. We will continue that fight in the years ahead.
Please join us tomorrow, as we march to in solidarity with the Women’s March on Washington.
