Thanks to all our members who were able to show up for picketing today in key bases across the country in a show of unity and solidarity.
For far too long, Flight Attendants have been placed on the back burner in this merger and it’s time to bring our collective voice to the forefront and demand that management invest in the very people who made it possible.
In the past 2 years, AA has posted over $11 Billion in profit, 2% of which they have made available to share with front-line employees while the top 5 executives have earned over $132 Million over the same time period.
Our confidence is waning in a management team that seems to think that the world’s largest and most profitable airline can be run without reinvesting in its most valuable asset— its people.” They can well afford to provide healthy uniforms, get their IT issues resolved, invest in their employees, and get this merger completed.
APFA members showed up in true union style to take our message to the streets.
For, indeed, that’s all who ever have” – Margaret Mead
Thank you to all who participated on the line and through the virtual online picket. We are APFA!
