April 2017 VLOA Awards – LUS

The April 2017 Voluntary Leave of Absence (VLOA) Award List effective April 1, 2017 is now available on Wings.

Flight Attendants on a VLOA will continue to accrue seniority, passes, insurance, vacation, and sick time in accordance with Section 25 of the 2014 JCBA. Benefit premiums will continue at the active rate. Premiums for benefit coverage will be billed directly to you.

LAA Flight Attendants with questions concerning their vacation accrual amount should contact their Flight Service Manager.

New This Year: Vacation Bids will be entered using the Annual Vacation Bidding & Award (AVBA) program via the Crew Portal.

The Annual Vacation Bid and Award (AVBA) guide and instructional video is also available on your Flight Attendant tablet. Access the guide in your Document Library > PBS Documents. You can watch the video in the Flt Svc Training app > Other Videos.

AVBA Flight Attendant Trainers will be assisting in all LUS crew rooms during the following Home Base Times (HBTs) through March 7th:

As a reminder, Round 1 Bidding closes March 7th at 1200 CST.
