Final Approach – A Farewell Message to PHX Based Flight Attendants

Greetings Fellow PHX Based Flight Attendants:

It is bittersweet that I write my last message to each of you. My term as your PHX Base President comes in for Final Approach on Friday, March 31st. Myself, along with Brian Clark have had the extreme pleasure to serve you over the past two years. I would also be remiss to not thank the Base Council Representatives that supported not only the two of us, but also each and every one of you.

Brian and I welcome the new PHX APFA Representatives that will lead this Base over the next two years. PHX Base President-elect Mischel Babi and Base Vice President-elect Robin Agee bring years of experience, knowledge, and their own uniqueness to our Base. Along with Base Council Representatives Gidget Clayton, Leslie Free (formerly Lara), Daniel Friel, Robert Fritz, Ralph Huerta, Tiffany A. King, Gene Labat, Benjamin Rodriguez, Joe Wieslander, and Allison Wood; Mischel and Robin have a knowledgeable and experienced team to represent our Base both with the Company and our peers at APFA. Thank you for stepping up!

Our new leadership will need your support over the next two years and beyond. They will lead us into the full implementation of the JCBA as well as FOI. This will be a gigantic feat and will require all 2400 of us, along with the 26,000 across the system, to support our leadership and remain unified to ensure that this next transition goes as smoothly as possible.

I would also like to thank the PHX Base Flight Service Managers, Duty Managers and Base Leadership for their dedication to help us succeed. Their full support is appreciated.
