Last Five (5) Days Pay Protection – LAA
As a reminder, when you are following Last Five (5) Days pay protection procedures, you have the option to either accept or decline a Make Up (MU) trip that ends, including the debrief period, in the next contractual month. You will not lose your pay protection if you decline such specific trip sequences.
Pay protection is limited to the scheduled hours lost in the current contractual month. Therefore, if you lost a carryover trip, only those hours in the current month are pay protected.

Hotel Allocations – LAA
You have probably noticed that the hotel assignments are not in the allocations section of the LAA bid packets. The Company sends the hotel allocations to the APFA Hotel Department and then uploads the information to the APFA Hotel Page. We will only upload the hotel information for the airport markets that have more than two hotels listed.
If you have a carryover trip with a layover in the next contractual month, then your hotel will be assigned with the next month’s allocations. Hotel and transportation information will not be uploaded to your HIHTL until bids are final. You may also email your flight number and date of arrival to [email protected]for hotel assignments.
