Compliance Reminders:
In Flight Manual
The InFlight Manual (IFM) should be up to date and fully charged including a fully charged back up battery.
Please Review Section 4-30-3 of the IFM. Remember: Flight Attendants can be personally fined up to $11,000.00 for certain non-compliance infractions by the FAA.

FAR 121.391 (d)
Per FAR 121.391 (d): During taxi, Flight Attendants must remain at their duty stations with safety belts and shoulder harnesses fastened except to perform duties related to the safety of the airplane and its occupants.
Once the boarding door is closed, you should only be up to perform safety related duties. Taking meal preferences is not considered safety related.
Violation of this FAR is punishable by personal fine by the FAA of up to $11,000.
Fall Board of Directors Meeting
The APFA Fall BOD Meeting will be held at the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Solana on October 11-12, 2017. All members in good standing are welcome and encouraged to attend.
