APFA Annual Convention 2018 Recap
The Board of Directors (BOD) approved the annual budget and received detailed briefings from the Joint Scheduling Implementation Committee (JSIC) and the APFA National Department Chairs and Representatives.
The BOD elected one Ad Hoc Member to the Executive Committee to fill the vacancy of Place #5 created when Paul Hartshorn Jr. was appointed as APFA National Contract Chair. Patrick Hancock will serve out the remainder of the current term ending on March 31, 2018. He was also elected to serve for the full 3-year term beginning April 1, 2018 and ending on March 31, 2021.

It was a pleasure to organize and host the BOD Charlotte reception. We would like to give a special shout out to Charlotte’s very own George Price Jr. who donated his time and resources. George’s sister, Janice, sang and performed, and the Price brothers, as well his son Josh, provided the DJ, music, and lights. Many Thanks!
Profit Sharing
The expected date for the profit sharing payout is Friday, March 9th 2018.
New Hires
The next new hire class arrives in Charlotte on March 31st 2018. There are expected to be approximately 30 individuals in this class.
National Officer Re-run Election
Ballots for the APFA National Officer re-run election will be mailed to all members on March 14, 2018. As a reminder, this is a mail ballot as well as a Department of Labor supervised election.
Please make sure you have updated your address not just on Jetnet, but with the APFA at [email protected]. Ballots must be returned, by mail, and received by 10:00am CT April 13, 2018.
For your vote to count, you must be dues current (no more than 60 days in dues arrears) by 5:00pm CT on April 9, 2018. You can contact the APFA dues department at [email protected] or 817-540-01081 ext. 8151.

If you experienced any of the following issues, please send an email with all details including name, AA#, pairing number, and date to [email protected]:
- Unable to reach scheduling/tracking or the hotel desk
- Had no hotel information prior to departure or arrival
- Told that they could not provide a hotel in base, mid sequence
