11.26.18 – WINGS Foundation Giving Tuesday, PHX Inflight Nov. 27th

Tuesday, Nov. 27^th from 0700-1300 volunteers will be in the Inflight area signing up Flight Attendants for Donate Now to support Flight Attendants in need through the WINGS Foundation. Anyone signing up for recurring donation to WINGS through Donate Now will receive the new WINGS, Inflight approved, apron with the deeper pockets.WINGS Merchandise: Aprons, TSA friendly corkscrew, vintage AA afghan, and cookbook will be available for a suggested gift donation. Volunteers Needed for PHX WINGS CaseworkThe WINGS Foundation is in need of volunteers interested in serving as caseworkers in the Phoenix base. Casework is the heart of why WINGS exists! WINGS caseworkers go through an extensive 8-hour training class to learn about the importance of confidentiality, the process of working with a Flight Attendant seeking assistance and the process for reviewing each case in the same manner. We hope to arrange a training workshop in Phoenix in early January, provided there is enough interest from our Flight Attendants.

Casework criteria:

A Caring and Compassionate Heart.
Treating each Case in the same Equitable Manner.
PC/Laptop Preferable, but iPad will Work.
Excel is a plus, but not an absolute need.
Availability of 15+ hours a month of Volunteer Time.
