The monthly allocation meeting was held last week. Most of the data we receive is available to you on the Crew Portal Bidding Dashboard–targeted lineholder, reserve, total bidder and line average.

We will continue to share these numbers and any pertinent information from the call.

New Data: We are used to looking at “bid job” numbers for ORD/MSP to gauge the amount flying coming into or going out of the base. Going forward we will see “scheduled sequence hours” by origination airport. Dividing the total hours by 80 will give a ROUGH number that equates to old bid job number
(ORD MAR current 129,042….APR increase 3346 = roughly 41 job increase M/M)

We continue to ask for lower % of 4-day trips and APR (2.4% v 4.5%MAR) is lower M/M.  Planning is making an effort to make the 4-day “commutable” if they must remain in the bid packet (the Company’s definition of commutable is report after Noon and release by 1700)

The continued increase in ODAN sequences was addressed again. Specifically, we are concerned with the amount left in open time after bids are final. We will continue to monitor.

Attendance Policy: All FAs should review their attendance/performance point in “MyView” on the Flight Service page. Any discrepancies should be brought to the attention of the FSM and the union. We continue to provide the Vice Presidents Department all documents to support the Presidential Grievance.

Early Boarding: As a reminder, Sections 11.M and 14.F of the JCBA specifically state when Flight Attendants will be required to be onboard the aircraft ready to receive passengers.Document all violations. The data will be used to support the Presidential Grievance. [email protected]

Facebook: The APFA Official Contract Q & A Page has been activated.  This is another way our members can reach the APFA for factual information and answers to questions related to the JCBA and our job function.

System Issues: Please continue to use the Scheduling System Issues Report Form >> to report TTS/ETB/ROTA issues. Our team continues to work for resolutions to violations and program fixes.

Training Reminder: Since FEB, the TBS system is used for scheduling CQ training. TBS is only available in your base month, grace month or 1 month early. Bidding opens on the first calendar day of the month and closes on the sixth calendar day. More info is in the attached JSIC Hotline.

TTS/UBL: Testing continues on a generic bid option in UBL. We expect to see delivery soon.
