Greetings PHX FA’s

We would like to update you on a few upcoming items of interest.

First off, the launch of LHR service out of PHX is finally here and is an exciting milestone for our base as we welcome the 777 and our year round London route!

Next would be the 737 MAX Groundings, cancellations and hotel re-bookings.  Please review the Hotline sent out by APFA National regarding pay protections.  A list of cancelled/re-routed aircraft can be found at the link below as well as JCBA hotel language.

Join Doug Parker for a  Flight Attendant Town Hall on April 4, 2019

Further, we would like to remind you of CEO, Doug Parker’s visit to PHX to address our Flight Attendant group regarding the reduction in headcount and many other things that impact our base. Doug will be in PHX on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 9:45am-10:30am. Please see below for specific information:

•  Please note this Town Hall is for PHX Flight Attendants

Due to space constraints at the PHX Airport, the town hall will take place at the Rio E campus. Please bring your badge to ensure access to the building. Parking at Rio West is limited, so carpooling is recommended

Finally, we announce that due to budget constraints and the downsizing of our base; PHX Base Council Representative Dan Friel will no longer be serving our members on a full time basis.  Dan will be returning to full-time flying duties effective May 1, 2019.
