MERGER COMPLETE

It only took five years, but we finally made it. May 2nd is a day for the history books at APFA.  It is the day all American Airlines Flight Attendants are JCBA compliant.  The merging of two airlines is finally complete.

It is a day to be celebrated- Unity is what makes us strong.  We have come so far from where we started. Many thought this day would never come, yet the day has arrived, and we all survived. We are working as a combined workforce, all while making new friends and memories.  We are standing up, pushing back, and standing strong together.

It has been a very long and winding road. It is now time to look forward to our next challenge. We are embarking on Section 6 negotiations to work toward building a new foundation-amending and improving our current contract. This will be a marathon, not a sprint, and it will take all of us putting our cultural differences aside and unifying as one combined workforce.
