PHL October Allocations

For the month of October, the total headcount for PHL is 2747. Available headcount is 2450 with lineholders needed at 2015 and reserves needed at 435. The LRD shows 468 reserves, but this also includes the speaker reserves. Our year over year total head count is 2735. Our available headcount is 2466 while our lineholders are up 31 and our reserves are down 47.

The company is planning to give approximately 69 VLOA’s for the month of October in PHL. October of 2018, the company offered 5 VLOA’s.

When bidding for October, please remember that Columbus Day is on the 14^th and Halloween is on the 31^st. Additionally, the rest of the seasonal flying will finish on the 26^th.  These flights consist of VCE, PRG, BCN, BUD, LIS, and EDI. In addition to the seasonal pull down, the 2^nd LHR will be stopping on October 25^th.  Vasu Raja stated that this flight will be coming back to PHL next year.

The 787 is coming to PHL starting in January. The planned international routes will be AMS, MAN and ZRH.  Vasu also announced last week while in PHL they will also fly this aircraft domestically between PHL -DFW and PHL-ORD.

Ballots for October training is currently open will close September 6^th at noon CT. If an insufficient number of ballots are received for training, Flight Attendants may be drafted (assigned) in reverse seniority order.  Flight Attendants were assigned 787 training for September.
