PHL November Allocations

For the month of November, the total headcount for PHL is 2,740. Available headcount is 2,465 with lineholders needed at 2,121 and the reserves needed at 344. Our available headcount is 2,365 while our lineholders are up 134 and our reserves are down 34.

The company is planning to give approximately 70 VLOA’s for the month of November in PHL. November of 2018, the company offered 84 VLOA’s.

We continue to advocate based on feedback for more 4 days, we will see an increase for November.  We will also see a decrease in ODAN’s, we certainly made our dissatisfaction known about that, this is the lowest percentage we have seen in some time.  The company is going to look at increasing these numbers in December.

When bidding for November, please remember that Daylight Savings Time starts at 2 am on the 3rd and Thanksgiving is on the 28th.  As in years past, you will see a reduction of flights over the Thanksgiving week thus giving longer layover times in some of our destinations.

As a reminder that the 787 is coming to PHL starting in January. The routes will be AMS, MAN, and ZRH. The aircraft will be flying domestically between PHL to DFW and PHL to ORD.

You can ballot for PHL classes only on Jetnet, you can also choose to ballot 787 training on the RBEST dates which are awarded in seniority order.  If an insufficient number of requests are received for training, Flight Attendants may be drafted(assigned) training in reverse seniority order.
