10.08.19 – PHX Base Brief – November Allocations

Greetings PHX FA’s!

We recently had our monthly Crew Planning and Allocations call for the November bid month and would like to share some details with our PHX members.

We received great news on both our Allocations and Planning calls.  You will see the numbers reflected below.  Your feedback that we receive and voice to the company is finally being heard.

We continued to address the excessive sit times and short layovers.  Many multi-day sequences contain an acceptable layover time followed by two layovers with less than 11 hours rest after a long duty day.  We asked that the layover times be distributed throughout a sequence in a more human like manner.  Sit times have been re-programmed in the optimizer to not build any sit time longer than 3 hrs 29 mins compared to the previous programming of 3 hrs 59 mins.  While not ideal, it’s a step in the right direction.
