Hello ORD!
We would like to give a warm welcome to all FAs new to ORD. Happy to have you’re here! Please remember when contacting us, always include your employee number and let us know if you have contacted another Rep or HDQ. This helps us to not duplicate work. ORD reps are available by phone, text and email. “Live Chat” on the APFA website is another after hours/weekend resource for assistance.
The monthly allocation meeting was last week. Most of the data we receive is available to you on the Crew Portal Bidding Dashboard and in the Bid packet. We will continue to share these numbers and any pertinent information from the call.
PBS SPECIALISTS WILL BE IN THE K19 OPS TO OFFER ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR PBS BIDDING. PLEASE CONTACT THE K19 MOD FOR DATES/TIMES.

Call Highlights:
- Schedule changes on 12/4 and 12/18. Similar to NOV the second half of the month will be messy due to the holidays.
- We again pushed for additional 787 domestic flying. The flying looks similar to NOV with PHX, SFO turns and a few DFW trips.
- The ODAN volume is consistent with NOV. The company number is based on “starts per day”. NOV 5.1 v DEC 5.1
- Long sit times built into sequences was discussed. The company is striving to drive connection times below 2.30 hrs on narrow body flying. We should see small improvements.
- Total hours at the base are down slightly from NOV. Reserve numbers are higher than NOV, but down year-over-year.
- Please continue to share your feedback.

Early Boarding: As a reminder, Sections 11.M and 14.F of the JCBA specifically state when Flight Attendants will be required to be onboard the aircraft ready to receive passengers. Document all violations. The data will be used to support the Presidential Grievance.
System Issues: Please continue to use the Scheduling System Issues Report Form on the APFA website to report TTS/ETB/ROTA issues. Our team continues to work for resolutions to violations and program fixes. Report Form here
When you have a workplace issue, please make your first call for assistance to the base Professional Standards Rep. We believe the peer-to-peer approach to conflict resolution is highly effective. It is also preferable to a solution that involves management which can compound the problem.
Jillian Bocenda is the ORD Rep 817-540-0108, x8615.
Uniforms: The APFA continues to document uniform reaction issues. Report Form Here
As always, we remain available for questions.
