June PBS Bidding
PBS bidding is currently open and will close on Monday, May 18th at Noon (CDT). As a reminder, satellite trips are available for bidding by any PHL Flight Attendant. If you bid PIT sequences, you are responsible for your transportation to and from PIT. (JCBA 10.U.2.b.).
For additional satellite flying information, please refer to the April 28, 2020 PHL Base Brief.
We have 566 Lineholders and 123 Reserves for a total of 689 Flight Attendants bidding in PBS for June of 2020. 574 Flight Attendants were awarded the VLOA for June.
CQT Updates
We continue to receive a lot of questions about CQT. You will find all of the CQT information at Jetnet > Flight Service >Training, including adjusted CQT schedules, what to expect, lodging information, and what measures the company is taking to protect you during the pandemic.
As of May 15th, the E-190, 757, and the 767 WBT were removed from the 2020-2021 curriculum. Â These aircraft have been officially retired from the American Airlines fleet. The A330-300 has also been retired. The A330 will continue to be a part of CQT in anticipation of the return of the parked A330-200’s.
Temperature Checks
As reported in our last update, the Company is conducting a temperature check on Flight Attendants in DFW and MIA. They are planning to start in PHL and PHX within the next week, so please continue to monitor your mobile CCI for a start date.
COVID-19 Updates
We are still dealing with this pandemic, and we are all doing what we can to protect ourselves, our co-workers, and our passengers. Despite these efforts, we are still at risk for exposure.  If you are notified that you have a confirmed exposure or have tested positive, please fill out the pandemic leave form at Jetnet > Team Member Services- > Leaves & Returns. We also ask that you file for an IOD (Injury on Duty). We also have a COVID-19 Report Form at APFA.org to self-report to the Union so we can ensure you are provided with the proper care and support.
