11.12.20 – APFA MIA Base Brief – Trips Missed Due to Tropical Storm Eta

Trips Missed Due to Tropical Storm Eta
Through a Letter of Agreement, the Company has agreed to remove all trips missed associated with Tropical Storm Eta. They will be recoded to a PO (Personal Leave Other) and documented as non-chargeable and will not count toward the two (2) Contractually allowed Personal Days in a rolling twelve (12) months.
Unfortunately, the Company was not willing to pay protect impacted sequences or restore Reserve guarantees. However, a Flight Attendant may elect to use Vacation Filler Days or current year, unused vacation to cover the lost time. Flight Attendants wishing to use this option should notify their FSM no later than Monday, November 16, 2020.
Please monitor your HI10M to ensure the trips missed have been recoded. Flight Service has advised me that the recoding should occur within the next few days.
