Trading into Red Flagged Sequences via TTS
Crew Scheduling has designated certain Red Flag sequences prospectively. I have received numerous calls regarding the rules for trading for these sequences.
Please keep in mind that if the sequence you are trading originates on the same day as the red flag trip you are picking up, the computer may allow the trade, but you will not be awarded the Red Flag premium.
Additionally, if the trip you are trading does not originate on the same day, but overlaps more than one day, you may be awarded the trade but not the Red Flag premium.
The Letter of Agreement clarifying red flagged flying within TTS may be viewed here.
Below are some examples which that will help illustrate the different scenarios.
