ATTENDANCE FLIGHT SERVICE MANAGER (AFSM)

The company has decided to move in a slightly different direction when it comes to attendance. Everyone has been assigned to an AFSM. They will be the manager that you will report to for all things attendance-related. We have been told they are highly trained and considered subject matter specialists when it comes to:

• FMLA,
• leaves of absences and sustaining the absence,
• company attendance policy,
• actions resulting from excessive or unexcused absences relating to sick occurrences,
• late reports,
• sick on contact/late sick call out, and
• missed trips.

 

Your AFSM will be the manager that will administer the attendance policy. Should you accumulate points that move you to a level, this manager will be the person issuing you the discipline. If a meeting is required, this will be the manager with which you will meet.

You will report to your normal FSM for all other issues, including operation or performance.

QUARTERLY WBT’S

The required quarterly WBTs have been loaded into the learning hub. They must be completed by November 15th.

VACANCY TRANSFERS

Transfer balloting will close on September 26th, at 8:30 am CT. Several bases that had displacements are open for vacancies. If you are holding a priority of return, there is a good chance you may be awarded a vacancy transfer back to the base from which you were displaced.

NEGOTIATIONS TOWN HALL VIDEO
