8.17.01 – (LAA) – TA Language and Skyword in the Mail, TA Phone Watch

This is Leslie Mayo, APFA National Communications Coordinator, with HotLine news for the week ending August 17, 2001.
By now you should have received your T.A. language , your new Skyword and your ratification ballot in the mail. The ballots are due on September 12th, 9:00 a.m. CDT so please be sure to fill yours out and drop it in the mail no later than September 5th. Please DO NOT place your ballot in an APFA lockbox or in Board Mail. It must be sent via USPS to the appropriate address marked on the ballot envelope. Make your vote count and be sure to follow all directions very carefully. Pencil is recommended; however, if you mark your ballot in pen, it will still be counted. Remember, you must be dues current on September 11th or your ballot will not count. Call the Dues Department at ext. 8151 to make payment arrangements. If you have not received your ballot as of Wednesday, August 22, please call the National Balloting Committee at 800.395.2732, ext. 8311 and a new one will be sent to you. Don’t forget to leave your full name, employee number, address, and phone number in your message to ensure we have your correct information on file. If you have not received the latest Skyword full of T.A. information or your T.A. language book please contact the membership department at extension 8200 and leave a detailed message with the item you are missing as well as your name, employee number, and address.

Regarding YourWorld, the Company has set the September date for sign-up in order to avoid being drafted. You may sign up between 5:00 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, August 22 through Thursday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. CDT. Only requests sent using HISEND Form 32 will be accepted.
