Vice Chair Election

This is Linda Herod-Rivas with the APFA National Ballot Committee. Today, June 23, 2008, the National Ballot Committee picked up the Willingness-to-Serve Notifications for the Vice Chair position at Chicago Domestic, JFK, Los Angeles International, Miami International and San Francisco International.

Heidi Sakacs is the new duly-elected Vice Chair for Los Angeles International. There will be elections for the Vice Chair position at ORD, JFK and IMA. The candidates for the Chicago Domestic Vice Chair are Debbie Dent and Carolyn Shumpert. The candidates for JFK Vice Chair are John Kline, Michelle Nasca and Cheryl Stewart-Gaymon. The candidates for the Miami International Vice Chair are Jena Hopkins and William Ragland III. No one submitted a Willingness-to-Serve for the San Francisco International Vice Chair position.

Ballots will be mailed to the APFA members based at ORD, IMA and JFK on July 11, 2008, and will be due by 9:00 a.m. Central Time on August 11, 2008.
