APFA Hotline Update – APFA Signs NDA With UCC, US Airways and AA

APFA has been invited to participate in confidential discussions with the Unsecured Creditors’ Committee (UCC) and the management teams of American and US Airways and has signed a non-disclosure agreement in order to permit those discussions to move forward. This Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) gives us further opportunity to affect the potential merger as we engage in direct and confidential discussions with key stakeholders. APA has been engaged in similar discussions since early last week. Further developments will remain confidential. Although this process has been largely without precedent, we know from previous major mergers that labor discussions like these were critical milestones.
