APFA Update – Equity Web Site Online – August 14, 2013

 

As we announced in last week’s hotline, APFA will be providing a web site that specifically addresses FA questions regarding the equity claim. There will be an equity distribution; however, as a result of yesterday’s filing by the Department of Justice, the actual distribution of shares will be put off until the antitrust litigation is resolved and AA exits bankruptcy.

As of now, AA has set a deadline of August 23 for all equity-eligible employees to submit a W-9. If you fail to fill out a W-9 you could face additional withholding taxes.
