APFA/AFA-CWA Representation Discussions Continue – August 22, 2013
The APFA Board of Directors met with the leaders of AFA-CWA yesterday in Washington for strategic discussions regarding the merger. All parties agree that the merger is still the best path for AA and US Airways’ employees as well as for consumers. There was also consensus that it is in the best interest of all involved to avoid a union representation election.
Additional meetings will be scheduled to continue these discussions that will hopefully result in a strategic partnership to benefit all members.
