Arbitration Update
This week, the panel will be reviewing the exhibits and testimonies of the union and company witnesses. The three arbitrators have called for the two union and two company panel members to meet in an executive session on Saturday, December 13th in Washington, D.C., to discuss a resolution of the issues raised at the hearing. If a decision is reached by the end of this session, the arbitration panel will provide it in writing shortly thereafter.

In last week’s hotline, it was announced that dates were proposed for the prefunding Presidential Grievance arbitration regarding the company’s refusal to distribute its prefunding match to active Flight Attendants. In fact, the contributions made by the Company on behalf of Flight Attendants who are still active and those who retired after October 31, 2012, are covered under the filed Presidential Grievance.
