3.05.15c – (LAA/LUS) Delta Flight Skids Off Runway

Events at LGA today remind us of the dangers of flying in this weather. Reports indicate that the Flight Attendants aboard the Delta MD-88 that skidded off the runway this morning were able to evacuate all of the passengers and crew safely. APFA commends their efforts and reminds all of our members to take extra precautions today, both getting to the airport and on the aircraft.
 
There is a groundstop at LGA at least until this evening. Be sure to check your schedules as many flights have been cancelled or diverted system-wide.
