LAX-Short Transportation – LAA
In August, we began using Five Star Transportation for our morning departures from the short layover hotel to LAX airport and it has gone very well. APFA is now pleased to announce that we will begin using Five Star Transportation for arrivals into LAX to transport to the short layover hotel. Beginning November 1, 2015, all scheduled arrivals into LAX between the hours of 1800 and 2130 will be picked up by Five Star Transportation upstairs on the departure level of Terminal 3.
If your flight is not scheduled to arrive during this timeframe, please continue to go downstairs to the arrivals level for pick up by Destination Shuttle Services. If your flight is delayed, but was scheduled to arrive during the time frame mentioned above, please proceed upstairs on the departure level for pick-up. Once Five Star Transportation has hired and trained new drivers and purchased enough vehicles, they will expand their services.
LAX-Short Transportation – LUS
As stated above, when Five Star Transportation has hired and trained new drivers and purchased enough vehicles, they will expand their services for pickup from LAX to the short layover hotel. Continue to send in your Hotel & Transportation Debrief/Irregularity Forms so the APFA Hotel Department can track which arrivals are having issues.
Hotel & Transportation Debrief/Irregularity Forms – LAA/LUS
The Hotel & Transportation Debrief/Irregularity Form can now be accessed from the APFA Website Home Page. This makes it easier for you to find the form in order to send in a report. These reports, and your feedback, are very important when addressing concerns with AA Management. Make sure to fill in all the information on the form and send them in a timely manner. I’m asking that you no longer fill out the “pink” hotel debrief forms as this department doesn’t receive those in a timely manner and it makes it difficult for follow-up.
