LAX-Short Transportation

A new transportation block is being added for the LAX-Short hotel. As stated in previous Hotel Hotlines, as Five Star Limo acquires more vans and drivers, more time frames will be added. Here is the information for all arrivals/departures effected during the time frames to/from our two short layover hotels. Destination Shuttle Services will continue to be used for all other arrivals/departures not encompassed by these times and pick up/drop off is on the lower level.

Flight arrivals scheduled to arrive between 1800 and 2130 at Terminal 3, upper level
Flight arrivals scheduled to arrive between 1800 and 2130 at Terminal 6, upper level
Departures from the short layover hotel for Terminal 3 that are scheduled to leave the hotel between 0500 and 0900
Departures from the short layover hotel for Terminal 6 that are scheduled to leave the hotel between 0430 and 0900

Hotel Allocations for December Bidding

The Company is currently working on the hotel allocations for the month of December, especially the markets in which we have multiple hotels. When they have completed a market they will send the information to the APFA Hotel Department to post on the December Allocations section of the APFA Hotel Page. This information gets posted as soon as it is received and usually during the bidding cycle. If there is no information posted on the first day of bidding, continue to check back as the cities will be added as they are received.

Temporary Layover Hotel Relocations

Temporary relocations from our contracted hotels to an alternate hotel happen all the time, system wide, for various reasons. These may include construction, a maintenance issue, fire alarm testing, etc. The notices are received by this department from the Company and then forwarded to the Base Leadership for information purposes. The notices are also posted to the APFA Hotel Page under the section Temporary Layover Hotel Relocations.

The APFA Hotel Page will be undergoing a renovation the next few weeks. The separate hotel and amenities sections will be combined to show the hotels we have in a city and the amenities they will offer. By combining the pages, it will make access to the information easier for our members. Thank you for your patience, while we improve the site.
