Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport Update
American Airlines flights are arriving and departing both on time and with delays at Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport. All public buildings in Paris, including schools, museums, libraries and town halls, were closed indefinitely starting today. An additional 1,500 soldiers were mobilized to guard Paris’s parliament buildings, religious sites and tourist attractions.
APFA Base Representatives and American Airlines Management are in contact with affected crewmembers. Hotel layovers have been temporary located to airport hotels to err on the side of safety. In addition, each crewmember has been provided hotel meal vouchers and complimentary room service. Our Flight Attendants’ safety and security is our number one priority during the aftermath of these tragic events in Paris.
