Winter Storm Jonas to Impact the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast This Weekend

Winter Storm Jonas remains on track as a major snowstorm for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Friday and Saturday. According to meteorologists, the storm will drop 1-2 feet of snow from the Appalachians across the Mid-Atlantic and toward New York. The storm will bring ice and freezing rain to Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky starting tomorrow. Blizzard and Winter storm watches are in effect for Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Arkansas for Friday and Saturday.
American Airlines has issued a travel advisory for passengers due to the possible adverse conditions of this Winter storm.Â
