CQT – Recurrent Training

If you are scheduled for recurrent training you are expected to show up prepared.  Being prepared includes having your web based training completed, being familiar with the new procedures for evacuations, and an updated tablet.  Your tablet should be updated before you get to the training center.  If it is not and you try to update it in the training center before class, it may not update.  The training center does not get good cellular service.

The FAA has been visiting the CLT training center quite a bit, evaluating the instructors as well as the flight attendants.  Please show up for training with an open mind and be prepared.

Also book your flights as soon as possible; you can only be booked on flights that have open seats. Many flight attendants wait until a few days before and there are no flights available.

September Commuting Reminder

Hotel rooms in Philadelphia are normally a challenge on the best of days; expect it to get a lot more complicated. September 22nd the World Meeting of Families will commence at the Convention Center and Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Centre City Philadelphia. The convention will be capped by Pope Francis’ visit on September 27th, which is expected to draw as many as 2 million into the City of Brotherly Love.
