Willingness-to-Serves Submitted for Base Vice President at LAX, RDU, & STL – LAA
On April 25, 2016, the National Ballot Committee (NBC) notified the membership that it was accepting Willingness-to-Serves (self-nomination or nomination by another member) for the position of Base Vice President at LAX, RDU and STL. Today at 10:00 a.m. CT, the National Ballot Committee retrieved from the post office the Willingness-to-Serves submitted for the position of Base Vice President. If only one candidate submitted a Willingness-to-Serve for the Base Vice President position, the candidate is deemed duly elected to the position. If there were more than one Willingness-to Serve received from the base, an election will be held. The following are the results:
LAX: Lisa Bales—Duly Elected
RDU: Louise Sullivan—Duly Elected
STL: Carol Harvey
Forrest A. Blake
There will be an election at STL for Base Vice President. Flight attendants based at STL will be mailed ballots on June 14, 2016 and all votes must be cast by 10:00am CT on July 14, 2016.
The APFA National Ballot Committee would like to congratulate both Lisa Bales and Louise Sullivan who will take office immediately for the remainder of the term ending March 31, 2017.
