American Airlines (AAL) has announced that its Chief Operating Officer, Robert Isom will replace J. Scott Kirby as President of the company effective immediately. United Continental Holdings (UAL) announced today that Kirby has been named President of United Airlines, assuming responsibility for United’s operations, marketing, sales, alliances, network planning and revenue management.
