New Uniform Cutover Happens September 20, 2016 – LAA/LUS
We have received many inquiries regarding the cutover date for the new uniform happening on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. For those Flight Attendants who have not received their uniform or are still waiting for exchanges or alterations, exceptions will be made to allow their current legacy uniform to be worn past the September 20th cutover date.
In order to qualify for this exception, Flight Attendants are REQUIRED to advise their Flight Service Manager (FSM) prior to the September 20th cutover. If you will be wearing the current uniform, it must be worn in its entirety with no mixing or matching of old and new uniform pieces (including wings and nametags).
The Company has notified APFA that if you are working a trip that departs prior to the cutover date and ends following the cutover, both uniforms need to be packed for the trip.
If Men’s Wearhouse is unable to complete your alterations prior to the September 20th cutover, the company will reimburse the full charges for all approved alterations done by your own tailor.
If you are missing uniform pieces, please contact Twin Hill Customer Service at 1-866-332-9970 or email [email protected].
Also as a reminder, the VF Solutions uniform points currently in use for LAA Flight Attendants will expire later this month; however, they are still accepting orders for luggage and tote bags. If you still have points available make sure to use them.
