Adjusted Bidding Timeline for December 2016 – LUS

As a result of the December 2015 PBS award issues and due to the anticipated high number of Flight Attendant PBS bid entries for December, APFA and the Company have agreed to adjust the contractual bidding timelines for December 2016. The added time will help to ensure the accuracy of the bid results. The APFA National Contract Chair Chuck Ransdale will be overseeing the loading, processing and awarding of the December 2016 PBS bid.

The following December 2016 bidding timelines have been adjusted for the December bid only:

1. December 2016 PBS Bid Award and Posted in CATCREW Dates
2. December 2016 Electronic Trade Board (ETB) Opening Date
3. January 2017 Filler Day Closing and Award Dates
4. VEX Requests for January 2017 Opening Date

Please Note: PBS Bidding Dates in November for the December bid month have not changed. Also, this adjustment will extend the time period in which ISAP and the Electronic Trade Board is unavailable for transactions that touch the last six days of the November bid month.

• Any Flight Attendant who has an inquiry or believes she/he may have received a mis-award shall notify the Flight Attendant Bidding Resource Center (FABRC) no later than * 1400 EST / 1200 MST on the 28th of November, or, if on vacation, within twenty-four (24) hours of return from her/his vacation.

A Flight Attendant who is scheduled for a continuous vacation block of at least seven (7) days, may elect to place up to a total of four (4) days off BEFORE or AFTER, or SPLIT on either side of such vacation. The days off will act as a pre-planned absence and will carry NO pay or credit. Such days off will be counted toward the Reserve’s scheduled Golden Days. Such block of four (4) days, or portion thereof, may be extended into the next bid period.
